Today Emery celebrated his birthday with his friends at daycare! This morning we brought cookies we made for each of his friends with their names on them so they could have a special treat after lunch (I'll post a photo after his birthday party on Sunday). While I was at work I got a text shortly after lunch from his daycare provider, Shawndel, and it said: "It is amazingly quiet in the house right now! Everyone is chowing on the cookies...they LOVE them!" I hope he had a fun time celebrating! It's the first of many times I'll get to make special treats for his birthday!! I can't wait for when he helps me make them and can decide exactly what he wants to bring. It's so much fun to be a Mom!
