Two Months Old

Well, we are a couple days late in posting a two month photo, but better late than never!

Emery turned two months old on Tuesday the 24th! The night before he surprised us by sleeping from 10:30 pm until 5:45 am! Then Tuesday night he did almost the same, but woke up at 5 am instead. We got some good rest those nights! Yesterday, however, was an eventful day for our little man. He had his two month doctor's appointment, which meant three big shots in his little thighs. He screamed and screamed when I laid him on the table. He didn't like it at all! I felt so sorry for the little guy! After it was all over, we went to Walgreens and bought some Tylenol drops and that helped him relax yesterday afternoon. He spent most of the day snuggling with mommy :) Last night though, he was all messed up and got up every 3 hours. Hopefully after he recovers from the immunizations (today??) we'll get back to a good sleeping schedule.

This weekend we had planned to have some special visitors but due to crazy weather, plans may change slightly. Simone was planning to visit but called this morning from Denver and said flights are being canceled right and left and we'll probably have to reschedule her trip to Kansas. Krysta also plans to visit, so we look forward to spending some time with her and Vince and them finally getting to meet Emery!

Kristin- Emery LOVES his Sweet Pea blanket! :)

Stay out of the snow this weekend!!
Love,
Jenn, Patrick, and Em

Glad you love your blankie, Emery! Hope you are feeling better from those nasty shots by now -- I hate 'em too.
Jenn, heard you got hit by a ton of snow last night -- is that true? We're supposed to get it tomorrow over here.

Emery is feeling better..at least last night he slept better, so that's good!

The snow is supposed to come in today! We've already had about an hour of sleet! I thought it was supposed to be SPRING!!!

Me too - how frustrating!! Our first year in the new house and my flowers are frozen :( Oh well, better times ahead. Have a great weekend and hope you get to stay inside and hibernate.
