Progress? What progress?!

We had our 38 week appointment today. Still the same as last week...no progress to report. Dr. Whiddon said "that baby's still hanging out up by your rib cage"...which I of course already knew. He said it's very common for first time moms to not have any progress right now, which made me feel a little better. But, what made me feel the best is that we set a date for an induction if he still hasn't shown by his due date. He's due on Friday, Jan 23rd, so Dr. Whiddon would have us come in on the evening of Monday, Jan 26th to start the induction and then have him sometime on Tuesday, Jan 27th. That's 2 weeks from today...I can handle that. At least we have a date to look forward to if nothing happens before then! Of course an induction means we can't go to the Birthcare Center, instead we'd go across the street to the hospital...but that's okay at this point! Patrick and I are just ready to meet him.
