First up, Patrick & I treated our family to Sesame Street Live here in Wichita on March 9th. It was a blast! We had such a great time!! I think the best part was watching Emery and Elle as they enjoyed the show. They both just loved the music, dancing, lights, and entertainment. We clapped, laughed, cheered, and danced. Emery thoroughly enjoyed it--especially the popcorn that he requested!! Memories like these are worth the extra little bit of money. We may just have to go again next year! :)
The next day, we were visited for the weekend by Grandma and Grandpa Holtahus and Uncle Eric!! Boy was it fun for Emery to play with Uncle Eric again! When they got to Wichita we went to Botanica for a picnic lunch and a nice walk around the gardens. It was a lovely day and we really enjoyed the Children's Garden. We're so happy we have a membership there this year...we'll get lots of good use out of it!

The rest of the weekend we spent together, just enjoying ourselves grilling out, going to church, doing a little shopping, etc. My Uncle Fred & Aunt Susan and their grandson Drew came by to have birthday cake with us for Dad's birthday on Sunday and Emery & Drew had a great time together. Eric stayed on Monday and got to see Emery's preschool and we went to the park together that afternoon. Always great to have family here!
