Elle Madeleine's Baptism

This past Sunday, June 26th, we celebrated Elle's Baptism!  She is officially a member of the Catholic Church!  It was a beautiful and memorable day!  Her Baptism was at 10 am, just before the 11 am mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's, the parish we attend here in Wichita.  Elle just so happened to be the very first Baptism that Fr. Orr has had in his new parish home!  (Fr. Orr's first mass at SEAS was this weekend)  It was a simple and beautiful little celebration.  After mass we came home and enjoyed a nice little party with lunch, cake and ice cream for her.  We are blessed with many people that love and care for her.  We appreciate that she will have some wonderful examples of her faith as she grows up!

Elle's Baptism Day!

Our Family of 4

Elle is the fifth generation to wear this baptismal dress.
My Great Grandmother Annie Bokern wore it in 1903!!

She looked beautiful in the dress!
